Missing Automations

TL;DR: For accountability purposes, Missing Automations manages an audit trail that records which automations ran on behalf of which customer accounts.
In this policy, we lay out what data we collect and why.
Information collected
Audit trail
Missing Automations manages an audit trail. For each significant event pertaining to an automation run, this audit trail records the following information:
- Timestamp
- Account ID
- User ID
- Which automation trigger or action is being executed
- Automation inputs, like columns and other options configured by the user
This information is retained until the application is uninstalled, after which the entire audit trail for that account is deleted.
Application logs
Missing Automations collects application logs in AWS CloudWatch. Logs are retained for up to 7 days. Application logs contain information about:
- Decisions the automation logic made
- Relevant IDs like account IDs, user IDs, board IDs, item IDs, column IDs.
- Sensitive information like item names, status labels, and other text content is not logged.
Third parties
Information shared by monday.com on your account‘s behalf for the purposes of execution automations is processed by AWS services, and immediately forgotten upon automation completion, with exception of audit trails and application logs as laid out in previous chapters. All AWS service is provided from the eu-central-1, Frankfurt, Germany, EU region.
The audit trail is stored in a managed DigitalOcean database. This service is also provided from the eu-central-1, Frankfurt, Germany, EU region.
Support and feedback
If you submit your personal information to us as part of feedback or a support request, we retain that information for as long as is required to process your feedback or support request. You are entitled to request your personal information be removed or amended at any time, and will do so within a reasonable time frame.
Requested permissions
Missing Automations requests the following monday.com permissions:
Permission | Purpose |

Read all of your boards data (boards:read ) | To read board, group, item, and column information to fulfil automation requests. |
Modify any of your boards‘ data (boards:write ) | To update boards, groups, items, and columns to fulfil automation requests. |
Read your profile information (me:read ) | To determine the time zone of the user requesting the automation. This is relevant for date and time related automations. |

We may update this policy as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect any new practices. Find when the policy is updated at the top of this page.
