Minor: Show parent item name on subitem (Pro)
We’ve added the item name of parent items in subitems. This option can be turned off in the event settings.

Going forward a new pricing plan has been added for those of you who need extra support and the current plans have been revised for new installs.

Bugfix: Event settings are available again in month view and for all-day events
Previously, the end column and information at a glance configuration was not available in month view, nor was it available for all-day events. This has been fixed.
Bugfix: Active calendar view is highlighted
Previously, the active view was not indicated, while it was supposed to be.

Bugfix: Information at a glance configuration now differs between event series
Previously, the information at a glance configuration for an event series would unexpectedly be the same for events in all series. This has been fixed. You can now configure different information at a glance for each of your date columns.
Bugfix: Show subitems when monday is set to a language other than English or Dutch
Previously, subitems would not be visible when monday was set to a language other than English or Dutch. This has been fixed.

Minor: Weather recipes get more time options
The weather automation recipes have received a bunch of new options for when they run; accomodating more frequent and practical updates to the forecast.
Minor: Avatar placeholder visibility and other UI improvements
The avatar placeholder is now only visible on an event when you hover over it. We also tweaked the event text alignment to be pixel perfect, even if only 1 person notices, we're happy.
Bugfix: Event information overlapping
Previously, if an event had too much information to fit in the event, in some cases information would overlap with the title. This has been fixed.

Weather forecasts (Pro)
The weather can seriously affect the work you deliver. With the addition of new automations, Calendar Plus makes it possible to integrate the weather forecast into your boards and calendars. Keep yourself and your team informed of the weather situation so you can plan and reschedule accordingly.
Create items from the calendar
You can now create items straight from the calendar. Simply click or drag any empty space in the calendar to create an item on that day or at that time. You can still create items from scratch by clicking the New button in the top left corner.
Minor: Remember last view
We’ve improved the way the calendar remembers which view you had open last. The calender will now reliably open to the view you had open last. It will also remember which date you were looking at for your entire workday.
Bugfix: Status column coloring
Previously, if a status column had no label, events would not be colored correctly. This has been fixed.
Bugfix: Jumpy calendar
Previously, the calendar would jump back to 6 am when interacting with events in the calendar. This has been fixed.

Pro plan
We’re proud to announce the Calendar Plus Pro plan is now available. Our first Pro plan features “Information at a glance” that shows you who’s assigned to items, and allows you to add extra information to items.
At the time of writing, our Pro plan is available from $9 per month.To upgrade, navigate to Administration in monday.com, then Apps, and choose See plans.

Feature: Date drill-down
You can now drill down into the calendar by clicking on a date. Clicking on a day in the year view will take you to the month view. Clicking on a day in the month view will take you to the week view.
Minor: Prepend a 📍 pin to locations displayed on events (Pro plan only)
If you’ve selected a Location column to display on your items, the location will now be prepended with a 📍 pin. This is only available in the Pro plan.

Bugfix: Incorrect day headers
The day headers in the year and month view were incorrect in some cases at some times of day. This has been fixed.

Feature: Add extra event information
You can now display who is assigned to an event, and add information from other columns. Perfect for adding status or location to any item. You can find these settings next to the event duration settings at the top right corner of every event. Only events from Date columns are currently supported.
Both features will become part of our Pro plan. However, until that plan is in place, you are free to use the new features and test them out. Once the Pro plan is live, you can choose to upgrade to keep these features. If not, you will remain on the Free plan.
Minor: Localized date and time formatting in calendar headings
The date and time formatting in the calendar headings is now localized as well. No more 7th of June or 6th of July misinterpretations.
Minor: Calendar design updates
Your week view is now a bit clearer through updated design.
Bugfix: What's new screen shows up when calendar is left open for very long
If your calendar stays open in your browser for a long time, the what's new screen will no longer make a reappearance.

Feature: Event duration
You can now see your events’ full duration on the calendar in week view. You can select a column for the event’s end date/time when resizing an event or by clicking on the settings icon on an event in the calendar. This only works for Date columns, not for Timelines.
Minor: Localized date and time formatting
The date and time formatting in the calendar is now localized. No more am/pm if your browser is set up to use a 24-hour clock.
Bugfix: Welcome screen shows up when calendar is left open for very long
If your calendar stays open in your browser for a long time, the welcome screen will no longer make a reappearance.
Bugfix: Accidental addition of subitem
Only a subitem's leftmost date or timeline column is added to the calendar. Before this bugfix, when a subitem had the same column as a parent item, it would be added to the calendar again.

Feature: Drag and drop events
You can now drag and drop events to change the date and time of the event. Your workspace administrator will have to grant a new permission to write to boards.
Feature: Open to previously open view
Calendar Plus now remembers which view you had open last. You’re now free to check other tabs and come back later.
Minor change: Calendar border styling
The calendar border is now less bright in dark mode. This will not affect you if your browser or OS is in high-contrast mode.
Bugfix: Hide all days of the week
If you hide all days of the week, the calendar will no longer display an error.
